FIRST AID IN A BOTTLE!
Trifectiv® Plus Paediatric Care is formulated to gently care for your baby's skin. The active ingredient is our non-toxic medical-grade hypochlorous acid (HOCl).
Use for any and all scrapes, grazes, wounds and bites. Mist onto nappy rash, cradle cap and many other inflammatory skin conditions. The perfect size for your nappy bag.
How to Use
- Clean the nappy area with warm water or wet wipes. Please do not use soap. Gently pat dry with a clean dry towel.
- Once dry spray the affected area with Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care and allow to air dry completely (please do not wipe or rub the solution into the skin).
- Once the skin is dry apply a barrier cream to the skin. Please do not use an ointment such as petroleum jelly.
- Repeat above steps with every nappy change or at least once every 2 hours until the nappy rash is resolved.
- Spray Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care directly into baby’s mouth four times per day.
- Spray onto the nipples after each feed or at least four times per day. Remove any excess milk from the area with a tissue before spraying.
Allow to dry naturally.
*Note: if any product is swallowed during this process it will do no harm .
- Spray Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care onto the affected areas after cleaning and drying the area.
- Allow to dry naturally.
- Repeat at least twice per day.
*Note: infection should clear within two weeks, however it is important to continue use of Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care until the cradle cap has cleared up completely.
- Spray Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care onto the affected areas.
- Allow to air dry naturally, do not rub the solution into the skin.
- Repeat 3-4 times daily until the skin has healed.
- Spray the affected area with Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care 4 times per day over the area and allow to dry naturally. Please do not rub the solution into the skin.
- Visible dirt should be gently cleaned from the wound with a sponge, warm water and a little bubble-bath or non-medicated cleanser.
- Ensure that no cleanser remains on the wound after rinsing with clean water (do not use saline).
- Pat the wound dry with a clean towel. No further cleaning of the wound will be necessary when using Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care.
- Thoroughly spray the affected area with Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care until damp.
- Allow to air dry naturally, do not rub the solution into the skin.
- Continue to spray the wound 3 to 4 times a day with Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care.
- If necessary cover the wound with a breathable dressing.
- Remove any dead skin or other debris.
- Spray Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care onto the affected area as soon as possible to minimise pain and inflammation.
- Apply a single layer of non-medicated paraffin gauze to the wound to minimise discomfort during dressing changes.
- Wet 3-5 layers of clean non-sterile woven gauze with 5 mL* (50 pumps) of Trifectiv Plus Paediatric Care and apply over the paraffin gauze. Make sure that the entire area is covered.
- Secure with a crepe bandage or breathable dressing.
- Change the dressing daily following the steps above.
Multiple studies have reported on the safety profile of hypochlorous acid overall. The FDA has declared HOCl as G.R.A.S., which is Generally Recognised as Safe. Medical Grade HOCl, as used in the Trifectiv® Plus range is tasteless and odourless and poses no risk of irritation or toxicity.
The Trifectiv® Plus products contain our medical-grade non-toxic hypochlorous acid and are completely safe to use, even on babies, during pregnancy and when breast-feeding.
